More Details for ... The Secure Registration Process
Password protection is established, as follows, right at the outset of the process.
- Click on "New Candidate
- Enter "Name" and "Email address" on the form provided.
- Click "Next"
Clicking on "Next" triggers the ukseocareers.co.uk computers to send a computer generated password to the Email address that was provided. Typically this takes less than a minute to arrive. Thereafter, logging in then requires the candidate to enter both the Email address and the password.
To continue with the registration process after the password arrives ...
- Enter postal address & phone numbers
- Click "Next Stage"
- Click on calendar icons to set dates
- How did you hear about us ? ... choose from the drop down list
- Hide CV? ... see notes below
- Site news ? ... to allow ukseocareers.co.uk to advise you when there are changes.
- Click "Register"
At this point the registration is now technically complete, and the newly registered candidate is automatically transferred to the Personal Settings page. Links from this page enable candidates, at any time, to access and edit all the personal details that they have entered.
To trigger the automated Email alerts newly registered candidates will also need to specify a Job category (the sort of job they hope to find) and a Region (where they hope to live/work). Links from the Personal Settings page will enable them to set these parameters.
To prime the system in preparation for using the one-click-job-application feature, newly registered candidates should also, at the earliest opportunity, upload their CV's. There is a link from the Personal Settings page to the CV-uploading facility.

Notes ... on Hide CV?
- The current annotation is misleading.
- If you apply for a job your CV, assuming that you have uploaded it to us, will be offered to the recruiter who has advertised that job. Your response to Hide CV? would not affect this.
- At the design stage, there were plans to offer a CV search facility to recruiters. The Hide CV? button was included to allow candidates to opt in, or out, of such searches. However, these plans were subsequently shelved.
Notes ... on fees
All fees are paid by recruitment agencies and/or the employers who are advertising the vacancies. There are no fees payable by candidates.
